This report outlines an action plan to end the problem of childhood obesity within a generation. The report presents 70 specific recommendations in five areas: 1) getting children a healthy start on life; 2) empowering parents and caregivers; 3) providing healthy foods in schools; 4) improving access to healthy, affordable foods; and 5) getting children more physically active.
