Proceedings from the April 2009 conference “Food Systems and Public Health: Linkages to Achieve Healthier Diets and Healthier Communities” are now available in a special double issue of the Journal of Hunger & Environmental Nutrition. The conference gathered 100 leading experts in health, nutrition, obesity, sustainable agriculture, economics, business, marketing and public policy to discuss how we as a nation can move toward a healthier and more sustainable food system. The conference was organized by Healthy Eating Research.
