Information Collection

Healthy Eating Research collects information from our users at different points on our Web site including a mailing list sign-up and Web conference call registration.

We use this information to contact users about services of our program for which users have expressed interest. For example, we respond to inquiries about funding opportunities, conferences, and news of common interest.

Grant PROPOSALS

Information Use

Generally, we use information for the purpose of which it was originally collected. For instance, mailing list participants are sent emails about calls for proposals (CFPs) released by our program and others news of interest pertaining to healthy eating and childhood obesity prevention. We do, on occasion, share information with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and with other childhood obesity focused programs of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. We do not share information with other third parties.

Non-identifiable Web site visitor data may be collected and used in the aggregate to help facilitate strategic planning and to assist in the creation and maintenance of content.

Correcting / Updating / Deleting / Deactivating Personal Information

If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service or to receive information from us, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally identifiable information. This can be done by emailing our support team.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
