Round 5 Grants and New Connections Grants through Healthy Eating Research
The deadline for submitting full proposals was May 13, 2010 (3 p.m. ET). Applicants will be notified in late-August 2010 if they have been selected as finalists, at which time final proposal documents must be submitted and a detailed budget review will begin. Applicants not selected for funding will be notified by August 31, 2010.
All grants must begin on November 15, 2010.
Rapid-Response Grants
The initial one-page (single-space) concept paper may be submitted at any time until September 1, 2010 (3 p.m. ET). Within two weeks of receipt of the concept paper, applicants will be contacted via e-mail by the Healthy Eating Research national program office and informed whether or not they are invited to submit a full proposal.
Invited full proposals may be submitted at any time until October 15, 2010 (3 p.m. ET).
Initiation of funding will be tied to the full proposal submission date. Funding for approved studies will be initiated approximately four months after submission of the full proposal. Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis.

Upon the successful submission of your proposal, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from the RWJF Grantmaking Online proposal application site. Please ensure that you have confirmation of your proposal submission.
Rapid-Response Grants
Concept Paper
Upon submission of the one-page concept paper, applicants will receive an e-mail from the Healthy Eating Research national program office confirming receipt.
