About

Healthy Eating Research is national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). The program supports research on environmental and policy strategies with strong potential to promote healthy eating among children to prevent childhood obesity, especially among low-income and racial and ethnic populations at highest risk for obesity. Findings will advance RWJF's efforts to reverse the childhood obesity epidemic by 2015.

Technical assistance and direction are provided by the University of Minnesota, which serves as the national program office. Healthy Eating Research is housed in the School of Public Health and is directed by Mary Story PhD, RD and key program staff with input from senior program advisers.
